At the Tucson AAS Meeting in 1974
John Theys and I both went to Cary (NC) High School graduating in 1960 & 1961. The chances of a small NC high school producing two astronomers seems remote. He got his degree from Columbia and had a postdoc at KPNO. He had a faculty position at SUNY-Stony Brook but switched to computer/software development.
The following were at some meeting in CV I think. I can't remember the topic or recognize the room.
